GAZİANTEP UNIVERSITY

Gaziantep University Continuing Education Center (GÜSEM) held a comprehensive information and promotional meeting for the students of our faculty. At the event organized on April 22, 2026, in the Farabi Classroom, ways to make a difference in the business world after graduation and the opportunities offered by GÜSEM were discussed.

Future Competencies and the Importance of Certification

İpek Tezel, Project Specialist and the speaker of the meeting, elaborated on the job opportunities that students may encounter after graduation and how to build “distinctive qualities” that will set them apart from other candidates. Tezel emphasized that the training programs offered within GÜSEM are accessible not only face-to-face but also online, and highlighted the critical importance of officially certifying acquired competencies in professional life.

The main topics highlighted in the training were as follows:

• Concrete Success Examples: The advantages gained by participants of GÜSEM programs in interview processes were discussed through real cases.
• Holistic Development

It was stated that the center is not limited to professional training alone, but also offers programs that support individual development in social and cultural areas. Students exchanged ideas on strategies for discovering their own strengths and becoming part of a qualified labor market.The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session in which students’ inquiries were addressed.
