“Business Life, Entrepreneurship, and Career” Talk at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in İslahiye
On April 15, 2026, a talk titled “Business Life, Entrepreneurship, and Career” was held with the participation of Mr. Seyit ARDIÇ, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ankara Chamber of Industry and Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, and Mr. Selahattin TÜRKMEN, President of the İslahiye Chamber of Commerce.

The event, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in İslahiye, began with the opening remarks of our Dean, Prof. Dr. Taner AKÇACI. In his speech, AKÇACI emphasized that, in addition to the subjects taught at school, encountering inspiring individuals during the student years is of great importance,and that such events provide valuable opportunities for these encounters.
After the moderator, Dr. Uygar YILDIRIM, introduced the guests, he gave the floor to Seyit ARDIÇ. ARDIÇ shared examples from his own life regarding entrepreneurship and stressed that entrepreneurship should not be confused with mere proactiveness. In addition to discussing the challenges and achievements in his professional life, he also shared his experiences regarding his involvement in the Ankara Chamber of Industry and his election as Chairman of the Board.

Following him, Selahattin TÜRKMEN took the floor and highlighted the importance of hard work in professional life, drawing attention to the significance of loyalty to one’s parents and honesty in human relations on the path to success.
